MEET JAC: 60+ YEARS OF JAC & PROUDLY BACKED BY KIWIS
Hi, we’re JAC, which we pronounce like the good old classic name “Jack”.
While JAC has been flying under the radar here in NZ until recently, JAC is already proven internationally – as a top commercial exporter to 132 countries, JAC has been a premium truck maker for 60+ years and knows and thing or two about commercial vehicles.
We look forward to getting to know you & sharing the ‘JAC of All Trades’ with Kiwis from Kiwis, with our NZ-owned and -operated team.

While having flown under the radar here in New Zealand until recently, JAC is actually a brand that has already celebrated 60 years of trucking, producing and specialising in commercial vehicles since 1964, when it was first launched and originally known as the Jianghuai Automobile Co.
JAC (pronounced “Jack”) is a successful brand as the #1 commercial vehicle exporter from China, retailing in over 100 countries. The innovative manufacturer is also bolstered by its relationships including the Volkswagen Group, Cummins, and Huawai.
Today, JAC Motors is the No.1 commercial vehicle brand in China, selling passenger and commercial vehicles to over 100 countries worldwide.
JAC is a proven brand who proudly supplies global companies such as Kraft Heinz, Carrefour, DHL and more…

JAC is proudly backed by Kiwis. We’ve made sure that every product we bring here to NZ has been thoroughly tested for Kiws by Kiwis… whether that’s been driving our EV truck around town until it ran flat, making sure the T9 was fit for 4WDing, right through to the toughest test of all… a roadie with kids in the back seat!
JAC New Zealand is backed by NZ Automotive Ltd (NZAL) who are proudly NZ-owned and -operated. Our Kiwi dealership network is also backed by Kiwis and we think that’s pretty neat.
We’re proud to support Kiwis, including the awesome team at food rescue charity KiwiHarvest.

The JAC team are proud to support food rescue charity KiwiHarvest with their JAC EV Truck. The addition of the JAC truck significantly expands KiwiHarvest’s operations – while also reducing its carbon footprint.
KiwiHarvest chief executive Angela Calver says the JAC electric truck adds capacity for an extra 2,100+ collections, resulting in the equivalent of over 400,000 extra meals distributed into communities each year.
The EV Truck has exceeded expectations with the chilled truck completing its full daily run of collections and drop offs across Auckland, arriving back to base having used only 20-25% of the battery across its average distance of 62.2kms a day – operating well within the JAC’s fully-loaded urban range of 200km+.
